I ate breakfast today for the first time in a while, and after reading this I will eat it again tomorrow.

Kay, last year you appeared on my fyp for the first time where you talked about the essence of womanhood, how so much of who we are relies heavily on eating good, quickly endorsing the food bank and some supplements for good nutrition. “A dessert if you’re nasty, if you’re kinky,” you concluded, and I knew I had to hear more, but I’d forgotten to hit the follow button. But then people crossposted your video on Twitter a couple months back and I found you again, this time someone linking your profile there. It was the perfect time because you had just shared your first substack post that moved me to tears and I had to share it with a friend. You write so beautifully and with the kind of sharpness that makes me look at my own life and love it a bit better. I cannot wait to read more.

Kay you've truly done it again. Phenomenal writing that hit too close to home and may have left me shedding a few tears

This is a beautiful stream of consciousness that we cannot take for granted. I adored you from TikTok and I am so glad you put me onto Substack, I feel like I have more inspiration to write now that I have in years!! I loved this, may we all sit in lawn chairs with our own collection of strange and wonderful women <3

I read this after exercising for the first in a while and planning what to eat for breakfast again for the first time in a while. This is resonate, poignant, and appreciated.
